Sitting here on a rainy southern California afternoon (loving every drop I hear outside), I came across these lovely landscape photographs by Dennis Fischer. He is a 27 year old photographer living in southern Germany who just started shooting in 2009. What is even more amazing is the fact that he is completely self-taught. I love looking at photographs like this in the middle of winter and his images are breathtaking. Today, under a blanket of grey clouds, I can hardly imagine that places like this actually exist in the world. The composition is wonderful and the colors are so serene and soothing; you can almost feel the peace and calm settling over you as you are invited into these beautiful places. If I ever came across a place like this, I think that I would find it very difficult to leave.
